Whether your child is taking their first steps on stage or already has performance experience, our acting classes give them a structured, supportive place to build real skills.
What's Covered in our Acting Classes
Our acting classes cover the full range of what a young performer needs:

LAMDA exams: students are put forward for their LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams when they're ready, giving them an accredited, recognised qualification alongside their training.

Script work: building confidence with text, characterisation and performance technique.

Filming projects: we've run filming projects with our students before, giving them real experience of acting for camera as well as stage.
Classes are generally kept shorter to suit the age and attention span of our students, running longer only when we move into rehearsal periods ahead of a show, so the time commitment scales naturally with what's happening on stage.
How Acting Fits Into Musical Theatre Training
Acting is never taught in isolation at Vision. Our musical theatre classes bring singing, dance and acting together in one session, because that's how we've found young performers really flourish! You can find out more about our singing classes here.
Many of our acting students go on to take the stage in our full-scale productions and West End performance opportunities, including trips to Her Majesty's Theatre and the O2 Indigo.
